But only 650 units will be manufactured
Electric vehicles have already convinced the big brands known for their combustion-powered power. In yet another proof of this, Harley-Davidson will launch, by the end of 2021, the Serial One, the automaker’s first e-bike.
What do successful entrepreneurs have in common? Innovation will be the key to 2021.
The model was inspired by the “Serial Number One” motorcycles, the name given to the oldest motorcycles from the Harley-Davidson brand, built there in 1903.
Among the new bike’s most striking features are the white tires, leather saddle and levers, and gold accents along with the black frame.
To ensure good performance on the streets, the cyclist will have a removable battery of 529 Wh, which will be able to reach up to 168 kilometers of autonomy. However, this number is dependent on several factors such as the customization of the bike, the way you ride, and the road conditions.
According to the brand, the electric bicycles will go on sale “at the end of the fourth quarter” of this year, that is, in December, for a value of 5,999 dollars, almost 32 thousand reais indirect conversion.
However, Harley-Davidson will only produce 650 units of this line, a number that will be divided equally between Europe and the United States. Depending on consumers, the brand promises more units in the future.
