Kraft Heinz announces purchase of Brazilian Hemmer

Hemmer was created 106 years ago and is headquartered in Blumenau (SC). The brand enhances the portfolio of Kraft Heinz in the sauces and condiments segment in the country: 

Kraft Heinz announced on Thursday the purchase of the Brazilian company of food Hemmer for an undisclosed sum, expanding its international platform in the categories of condiments and sauces called “Taste Elevation” and support for its strategy of expanding presence in emerging markets.

Hemmer was created 106 years ago and is headquartered in Blumenau (SC) and the brand increases Kraft’s portfolio in the segment in the country that also has Quero and Heinz.

Hemmer will benefit from Kraft Heinz’s distribution network and service model in Brazil, including the restaurant and hotel service channel “which is growing rapidly,” Kraft said in a press release.
