Motorola Moto E7

Now the company has introduced another Moto E7 Power smartphone in this series, which was originally priced at Rs 7,499. Many phones are already present in the segment in which Motorola has introduced this phone.

Motorola has been trying for several years to strengthen its position in the Indian market. This is the reason why, in addition to the Moto G series, the company is now focusing on the entry-level budget segment. Last year Motorola launched the Moto E7 Plus. Now, the company has introduced another Moto E7 Power smartphone in this series, which was originally priced at Rs 7,499. There are already many phones in the segment in which Motorola has introduced this phone. How powerful is the Moto E7 Power and will it be able to compete with its rival smartphones? Let’s know the Moto E7 Power in detail in this review.

Moto E7 power display

First of all, let’s talk about the phone screen. It has a 6.51 inch Max Vision HD + screen. There are thin bezels on all three sides of the screen, while the chin is slightly thicker at the bottom. The traditional teardrop notch design is available on the front panel for the selfie. Just above the notch is the speaker grille. Its display is similar to that of the Moto E7 family launched last year by the Moto E7 Plus smartphone. The company may have done this to maintain consistency across all phones in this series.

Due to the size of the phone screen, watching videos or playing games provides a better viewing experience. We’ve seen a lot of web series on this phone and at this price, the brightness and color scheme or screen contrast looked okay too. Despite being a budget phone, you can play heavy games like Call of Duty. In this, we also saw a Need For Speed racing game. The screen did not show any kind of problem. Vehicle movement and road visuals were also good while playing the racing game.

Speaking of the back panel of the phone, plastic body material has been used. The vertically aligned rear dual camera setup was given behind its back. There is an LED flashlight just below the two cameras. On the back panel are the Motorola logo at the top and the speaker grille at the bottom. A physical fingerprint sensor is located on the logo.

A dedicated SIM card slot has been provided on the left side of the phone, in which two SIM cards and a micro-SD card can be installed. On the right side, there are dedicated Google Assistant buttons with volume and power buttons.

The back panel of the phone has a good finish, which makes its back look attractive. The best thing is that even if there is a splash on it, the phone will not be spoiled, that is, it is equipped with water replant function. According to the entry-level phone, the design of the Moto E7 Power is better. It looks like a mid-range phone.

Moto E7 power-performance

This budget smartphone from Motorola comes with the octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor. This processor is specially designed for gaming smartphones. This budget phone offers up to 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be increased from a micro-SD card to 1TB.

The phone has a 5000mAh battery, which comes with USB Type-C charging support. The battery of this budget entry-level Motorola smartphone is its USP. Once fully charged, you can use this phone for 30 hours. After charging the phone once we saw a 9 episode web series on it, even after that 15% of the battery remaining. As a result, there is a backup battery to watch online videos for up to 7 hours in the phone.

We have reviewed the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variants of this phone. There was no issue playing the Call of Duty game. After playing the game for about 35-40 minutes, there was a complaint of lag in its graphics. However, this can be ignored.

Depending on the price of the phone, you can also play heavy graphics games on it. At the same time, there will be no problem playing low graphics games like – Ludo King, Coin Master, etc. Its back panel tends to be slightly warmer when playing heavier games, which is natural. Due to the high graphics, the processor is more stressed, which makes the phone hotter.

When it comes to calling experience, MIMO network support has been provided there, which supports better call connectivity. In Moto E7 Power, you will get a near-stock Android experience, thanks to which you will get many default apps and features from Google. This phone supports Screen Cast within the budget range. With the help of this, you can see your phone screen on your smart TV.

Speaking of overall performance, this phone won’t disappoint you in this price range. Whether it is for watching online videos or playing games, you can use this phone. If you are using the smartphone for basic needs, after fully charging you will be able to use the Moto E7 Power for about two days.

Power Moto E7 Camera

The only downside seen in most budget smartphones is their camera. Obviously, at a low price, you shouldn’t expect a better camera in any smartphone. There are two cameras on the back of the Moto E7 Power, the main sensor of which is 13 MP. At the same time, the second sensor is 2MP. In addition, you also get an LED flash, which can be used in the dark or for night photography. It has a 5MP selfie camera.

We liked the Moto E7 Power’s camera better than the other smartphone brands in this line. It supports 8X zoom. Apart from this, there are many photography modes such as Panorama, Micro, Portrait, Manual, and Auto available as well. Beautiful photos can also be clicked in low light from the phone’s rear camera.

We clicked on a few photos from the morning, which went well. We also liked its macro camera mode. Photos taken with 8x zoom are starting to pop, which is natural. You can use this phone for simple photos and social media uploads. If you are creating a Vlog and don’t want to spend too much money, you can do HD-quality videography with this phone. Its front and rear cameras can record HD videos.

Should it cost Rs 8,299 for a phone?

For less than 10 thousand rupees, you will get smartphones from many brands. The camera specs on any of these phones will be good and the battery life will be good. If you are looking for a good camera phone with a good battery then Moto E7 Power may be an option for you. Its top variant, which comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, won’t disappoint when it comes to performance. Its camera quality is also good. At the same time, even if you like to play light games, this phone can live up to your expectations.

One of the things we didn’t like about Moto E7 Power is its weight. The phone is a bit heavy. Other than that, the fingerprints fall on its screen quickly i.e. without screen protection the phone will not be able to use it. Overall, the Moto E7 Power is a good option in the budget segment.
